  The MEE Journal series addresses Inmates' needs that are compatible with nationally recognized criteria and problem dimensions including the DSM and the ASAM criteria. Journals and Facilitator Guides offer a template for service delivery while encouraging and tapping into the providers' experience, expertise and strengths. The MEE journal series includes the following journals: Getting Started, Substance Using Behaviors, Feelings, Anger, Self-Worth, Family and Other Relationships, Life Management, Coping Skills, Successful Living with Co-occurring Disorder, The Power of Self-Talk and Recovery Maintenance.

  The MEE workbooks are a mandatory supplementary programming option for inmates who have a pending referral to the Residential Illicit Drug Use Program RIDUP or have tested positive for fentanyl only and have been referred to the Fentanyl Response Program (FRP).
